My Beliefs

My Faith Journey

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my relationships with God, our Heavenly Father, and his Son, Jesus Christ, are central to who I am. Over the years, as I have talked with God through prayer He has helped me to discover who I am and what my purposes are in life.

Core Beliefs

Jesus Christ is My Savior

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. Through His Atonement, we can find peace, healing, and eternal life. His teachings guide my daily decisions, help me to forgive myself when I mess up, and help me to feel a connection with heaven.

The Restoration

I believe that through the Prophet Joseph Smith, the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth in its fullness. This includes the restoration of priesthood authority, additional scripture, and continuing revelation through living prophets.

Eternal Families

One of the most beautiful aspects of my faith is the belief that families can be together forever. This doctrine brings hope and purpose to family relationships and motivates me to be my best self for my wife and kiddos.

Service and Love

Following Christ’s example, I strive to serve others and show love to all people. I believe we are all children of God, deserving of respect, kindness, and compassion regardless of our differences.

Personal Revelation

I believe that God continues to communicate with His children today through personal revelation. Prayer, scripture study, and seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit are essential parts of my spiritual growth.

Living My Faith

My beliefs shape how I approach my professional work, relationships, and service in my community. I strive to live with integrity, treat others with kindness, and use my talents and abilities to make a positive difference in the world.
